You should enjoy your flowers! I want them when they are looking kind of sad. However, I do find that some flowers get better color when they are dried fairly fresh. I prefer to dry for you. But rest assured, I can do this with old flowers or new. And they turn out wonderful. The amount of flowers depends on the flower's petals when they are dry. For instance a rose could make 2 bracelets but it would take about 6 daisies to make one bracelet. I also use the foliage in your flowers, please specify if you do not want this..
